About Us

talkPOPc is a multi-faceted project, which includes published philosophy, paintings/textual artworks, one-to-one philosophical conversations (in a special tent with our mascot puppet!), and a podcast. The project is a focus on the empathetic role of conversation, and how it is that we build thought both through art and through philosophy. The tent conversations become episodes on the podcast and, in addition, particular sentences and thoughts are extracted from the participants’ conversations and appear back into the artworks, (which are called Converse Thoughts), where they are seen in the form of slips of paper that can be unrolled and read. Philosophy becomes art, and art becomes philosophy.
