This panel discussion is a call to action for women of all ages—young, middle-aged, and seasoned—to keep pushing forward, no matter the obstacles. Setbacks will come. Doors may close. But what if those very challenges are the foundation of your strength, the fire that forges your resilience? Your journey is not over. Keep pressing on, because the goal ahead is still yours to claim.

Marina Angioletti's profile photo

Marina Angioletti

My name is Marina Angioletti-I’m a content creator, mother and ovarian cancer survivor. In May of 2023 in the height of my career as a natural hair content creator, and just 11 months after having my daughter I received the most devastating news of my life-I had stage 4 cancer and without treatment, I had only 6 months left to live. Within a month of diagnosis I lost my hair, along with my livelihood and every plan I previously had for my future suddenly felt incredibly uncertain. Yet, with a strong support system, and a deepened sense of faith, I made a conscious decision that no matter the outcome-that I would fight on. In the last 9 months I’ve endured grueling chemotherapy treatment and surgery, resulting in drastic changes in my appearance, body and spirit…but through it all, I have persevered. Cancer has deepened my connection to God, to nature, to my loved ones and in spite of it all, I THRIVE. I’ve joined you all here today to remind you to be present in every waking moment, to always listen to your body and that even in life’s darkest times you can always find light.
